Terms and conditions

Our terms and conditions have been laid out to protect yours and our best interests, avoid misunderstandings and disagreements. We are always happy to discuss your concerns should you have any. Once the deposit is made to secure your date, you would be agreeing to the following terms and conditions of Cherie Studios:


♥ Securing the date

Cherie Studios will secure our services for your wedding day with a booking fee of 30% from the total fee payable.

  • The client may cancel this contract up to two weeks before the wedding by written notice to Cherie Studios, but in doing so shall forfeit monies paid.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, but transferable for weddings that are rescheduled to a later date, subject to photographer's availability.
  • Due payment for our services are required minimum two weeks before the wedding.


♥ Attendance
  • In the event the Photographer is unable to attend your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances, Cherie Studios will find a replacement for you to their best ability.


♥ Travel allowance
  • In the event the photographer is required to travel more than 50kms from Perth City Centre, the photographer will accept an hourly rate of $30 to cover petrol and car allowance.
  • If the photographer is required to travel interstate, cost for airline tickets, accommodation & car hire will be added to the fee.



♥ Copyright
  • Cherie Studios do not include raw photos as part of our service.
  • Cherie Studios hold full copyright rights to any images or copies of images, however, clients reserve the right to use images for personal, non-commercial purposes.


♥ Display
  • Cherie Studios reserve the right to use images included in this contract for their portfolio, literature, exhibitions, competitions and advertisements for commercial purposes. They may also be used on their website, email and social media channels.
  • We respect that our clients may choose to keep their photos private, and should they choose to do so, provide notice to us before paying the deposit.

♥ Payment and delivery times
  • Payment is accepted through bank transfers, details will be made available on our invoice.
  • Photographs will be provided on an online gallery within 6-8 weeks of the wedding.


♥ Cherie Studios will carry out every assignment with professional diligence. However, elements beyond the Photographer’s control (eg. faulty material, equipment failure, damaged memory cards or weather conditions) may inhibit or prevent us from completing the wedding in whole or in its parts. In such an event, we hope you extend an understanding to the photographer's performance of the assignment.
